mLevel & Pearson Win Best of Show Vendor Award at FocusOn Learning DemoFest 2016 for Their Project: “Increasing Student Engagement in Business Education”
Chicago, IL – June 15, 2016 – mLevel has won the FocusOn Learning DemoFest 2016 award for “Best of Show Vendor” with Pearson’s innovative approach to mLevel’s microlearning platform. The FocusOn Learning 2016 Conference and Expo was held from June 8th to June 10th in Austin, Texas. This year FocusOn Learning targeted the trends and technologies that are changing today’s training landscape while exploring the topics of mobile, video, and performance support. It is run by the eLearning Guild – a community for eLearning professionals with more than 76,300 members worldwide.
Last week, as part of FocusOn Learning, mLevel and 32 other DemoFest participants from around the globe showcased their latest and greatest mobile learning, performance support, and video learning projects. This provided their fellow attendees with the opportunity to see a wide variety of solutions to common eLearning challenges as well as vote for those being most innovative and relevant to the current learning environment.
“We are honored to be recognized by the eLearning Guild for our industry leading microlearning platform,” said mLevel Executive Vice President, Jordan Fladell. “This award validates our partnership with Pearson, which allows us to be a key part of educating today’s students on important business skills that they will require to be successful and productive members of tomorrow’s workforce.”
In order to deepen student engagement in business education courses, Pearson developed a new offering that pairs mLevel learning games with correlating chapters in their introduction to business textbook. Pearson’s partnership with mLevel accelerates innovation in the business curriculum, and it enables learners to access their digital course content anytime and anywhere. As a result, greater classroom participation and involvement transpires along with an enhanced course experience for students. Additionally, mLevel’s detailed analytics allows instructors to review learning analytics and assess knowledge gaps more effectively than other tools.
